Winning or losing at the starting point... ??? 傻傻分不清楚
I have been pretty occupied with my new NDSL... And very immersed in Mario Kart.... it is a racing game, a simple racing game but complicated as well.... The main plot is simple, win the race at the fastest time and of cos come in first, i think that is all of our goal, but being the first in the race is kinda complicated as well.... the racers behind get to pick out certain weapons to slow u down.... Ok, here is how it works,
During the race, we are given mysterious boxes that we need to pass thru, these mysterious boxes provide many things, but we are only given one thing at a time, either we get some personal boost, if not, we are given things to slow other racers down.... there are bombs and turtle shells to slow the racers in front, as well as boxes and banana peels for the racers behind....
This is where my thots began...
Like, if we were to be in the 1st place, we get the jealousy of the racers behind, then will kena attack and end up, ok, not in a very good shape..... But if we let the rest go first, just to prevent all these bombings and attacks, we wont be able to catch up in the last lap..... So how???
Sigh... I think this is th same in the society... I have been watchin Hell's Kitchen, a reality TV show... Dunno if u peeps ever heard of it.... it is like contestant trying to win the favour of the head chef, (Famous Chef Ramsae) then in the end win a restaurant of their own.... there is this lady, never in the professional kitchen before, but she manage to win challenges and cause the rest of the contestant to be super jealous of her..... so during their teamwork task, no one helped her..... making her clumsy and helpless....
What an ugly picture painted abt the society and the people within it... We get jealous, envious and end up doing certain things that are beyond our control for love and care..... Think abt those ppl we will hurt when we are in this mode..... Like, we get so hot-headed that we couldn care less.... Isn it superficial??
Well, as much as i am going to be really immerse in Mario Kart, think we shd all ponder abt the above topic... I mean, even though the examples i give are a TV show and a game, the fact that these are made and created by humans show that these things exist.....
