Being Efficient or Just Lazy...

I used to stay a few blocks away from the nearest super mart once.... and every time there is a shortage of groceries, we all used to dread to be picked on going out to get them..... Cos it is a super long walk out from the estates, plus there are alot of stray dogs and cats that will bother you sometimes.... Of cos, not until our bikes came along and things become much more fun just cycling out....

Then we moved out, to some place nearer to the super mart.... still kinda far, but not as far.... (if u get wat i mean) It was more of like, walk a bit out of the estate and cross a small road, then the super mart n food courts are all available.... We still dread going out to get them.... but compared to the first home, this was much much better....

(of cos there are times we will just stock everything once when we go out.... but when the shortage is around, u just have to go out one way or another)

Again, we moved out, and this time round, the super mart was just right slightly below our block, we had to go to the ground floor and cross a small road too.... Thinking abt it, i think that is the nearest u can ever have a super mart to your hse..... BUT, we still dread sometimes going down to get some simple stuff.....

The problem was just the thot of having to go out, walking just that little bit of distance can be a dread...... I know i know.... It is just pure laziness, but we always have some excuses to not go..... blaming why we did not move to some place where the super mart was RIGHT BELOW ur block....

Well, now i am staying at a place like that.... where the super mart is RIGHT below at the ground floor..... and guess wat?? WE WILL STILL DREAD JUST GOING DOWN..... lolx.... we can never be satisfied.... NEVER.... lolx....

I think this is just human beings being human (a.k.a human nature)..... we keep expecting things to be nearer n perfect, but never really appreciating it in the end because we will always be wanting more..... to improve the quality of our living standards or to just be efficient...... lolx..... simply said: excuses....

Now, i think i wish i can live where the super mart is RIGHT next door..... so i wouldn even have to step out of the house...... =)
